I-153 ( Aleksandar Sekularac ).
"I was inspired by recent article from Hector Mirasol, about Classic Airframes
I-153 Chaika, so I decided to send some pictures of my own model. I built it
to represent restored aircraft that participated in "Warbirds Over Wanaka"
air-show in 1998.
This Chaika has recently amassed five awards, with most important one being
Best Aircraft on this years Regional Contest in Atlanta. Detailed article on
building it should be appearing soon in Fine Scale Modeler magazine."

I-153 ( Peter Vill ). "Classic Airframes 1/48 scale kit, All of the exhaust ports have been drilled out and exhaust pipes made from brass tube, engine cooling vents drilled and filed out (in front of cowling) shutter fitted behind them to save me having to fit an engine, all other vents drilled out and made with brass tube, rigged with fishing line. Painted in the colours of an aircraft in the 8th fighter regiment, Black Sea Fleet near Sevastopol. Generally a nice kit but does need to be made not just put together."
