Pe-2, 1/72 scale ( "Phil" ). "This is Zlinek 1/72nd Pe2, 359th serie, 40th BAP in Black sea fleet according to polish book "sowieckie lotnictwo morskie 1941-45". A detailed kit, but the plastic is soft and not easy to work, and many engraved details disappear after sanding, due to difficult fit. New exhausts were created from hollow plastic tube, as well as actuators for the flaps. A waist machine-gun was added (actually a bit overdimensioned), and some etched fret provided with the kit was used inside.The vane on the turret comes from Eduard brass, it has almost the correct shape. Antennas are made with stretched sprue, intentionally not painted to keep them less visible, as on real planes. A shaft for starting was also added to the spinners. In brief, a demanding kit that looks better on photos than in real life!"
