P-47D, 1/72 scale ( Uwe Borchert ). "I made this Thunderbolt from the Academy-kit in 1:72 scale. The kit has some little defects for example in the in the cockpit area. With some success I used the Eduard-Zoom for this area. The decals came from the Lend-Lease-AML-sheet No 72021. With Model Master colours I made the colouring of this airplane. This plane was in action with the 255. IAP of the Northern Fleet".
