Borchert ). "I decided to build a MiG-1 model from the simple
but accurate HobbyBoss MiG-3 kit. I altered the length of the fuselage and the
engine details as Massimo Tessitori wrote in the MiG-1 chapter of his great MiG-website.
The kit has a bad cockpit area. For this reason I cut off all thinks from the
original kit cockpit and made a new working place of the pilot from plastic sheet.
The canopy is home vacuformed. My model has the shorter underbelly water radiator
and the typical landing gear doors. Additionally I made new wheels and exhausts
from resin."
