La-5FN ( Alex Ruchovsky ). "A conversion of Eduard's La-7 into an FN that is easier than one may think it is. The main job is to replace the centerplane's front part including also the wheel well area (the one from KP's FN or Maquette's La-5 can be used). I also added extra detail to the canopy, reshaped the wingtips to make them look broader, corrected the rear glazing area (where the sliding hood rails are located) and added -7 vs -5 differences, such as spinner, radiator, intake, leg covers, wheel wells, fuselage side panels. Finished as 2GIAP's Mongolskiy Arat plane."
LaG-5 ( Helmut Wang ). "Cooprativa,w/ thermaform canopy."
LaG-5 ( Uwe Borchert ). "KP-Kit ( La-5 FN ) with a new rear section. I scratched the cockpit and change the details of the cowling. The markings are from the book Red Stars in the Sky."
LaG-5 ( Libor Jekl ). Cooperativa. Aftermarkets: Part photo-etched set, Falcon canopy. Decals: out of the box. The individual aircraft numbers were left to represent an aircraft freshly delivered to a combat unit.
La-5FN ( Václav Lomitzki ). KP kit.
La-5FN ( Augusto Versiani ). Italeri kit built out of the box with superscale decals.
La-5FN ( Libor Jekl ). Once again, the kit is built directly out of the KP box, just a few bits like armoured glas, seat belts, etc. were added into the cockpit. The kit represent the machine of V.I. Popkov from 5. GIAP, autumn 1943. The decals come from Eduard set "Soviet WW II Aces".
La-5FN ( Bill Arnold ). 1/72 Lavochkin 5FN by Italaeri. Finished OOB.
La-5FN ( Ilya Grinberg ). KP kit.
La-5 ( Ilya Grinberg ). Another fine model, this time using the excellent Cooperativa (VES) mold. "La-5 is of 437 IAP as shown in Red Stars on page 28. This is the VES/Cooperativa kit, basically out of the box, again with Falcon vacuumform canopy."
