Il-10, 1/72 scale ( Larry Baldwin ). KP kit. "It's a rather old and dated kit so there was some work to do to bring it up to standards. The kit was completely scribed and the front air vents opened up. A starch build cock pit was put in, only the center amour plate and interment panel was saved.
The only real error in the kit is that the wing tips needed to be rounded off. To keep the same wing span material was added and then shaped. Stretched sprue was used for the engine panel hinges.
Plastic rod was used for the gun barrels and a piece of stretch sprue was used for the pitot tube. A Falcon canopy was used. While the new White Ensign Model paint was used for the Interior, Humbrol was used for the Exterior.
The decals were from the spares box."
