Produced from a combination of the 1/48 scale Accurate Miniatures B-25C/D and Monogram B-25J kits, this model depicts the Lend-Lease Soviet VVS B-25DP Mitchell "White 13" of the 4./198 4th Guard "Brajansk" Bomber Squadron, of the 198 GBAP/198th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment "Sevastopol'skiy", of the 14 GBAD/Guards Bomber Aviation Division, of the 18 VA/ADD/18th Air Army, based near Sevastopol, Black Sea Region, Southern Front, late 1944. Heavily modified and super-detailed "open" tail position, added late-style waist gun positions, and detailed interior, including hand-drawn maps on the table in the nose navigator/bombadier position. 37mm cannon mounted in the nose was taken from a 1/48 ICM Yak-9 kit. Radio aerials done from nylon thread. Eduard and Model Technologies photo-etch detail parts used. Ammo belts scratchbuilt from plastic scraps and tape. Scratchbuilt Vodka box and pallet from plastic scraps, which will be used in a future diorama project featuring this aircraft. True Details aftermarket "weighted" resin wheels used. Color scheme of A-II Green, A-II Dark Green, and AMT-12 Dark Grey topsides over AMT-7 Blue Grey undersides produced using Testors Model Master colors, then heavily weathered and much paint chipping applied, revealing both natural metal and the aircrafts' original faded US Neutral Grey and faded US Olive Drab paint scheme underneath. Most clear window parts replaced as well as replacement landing light lenses, using clear plastic sheet. Additional wiring was added to detail both engines. Cutting Edge and Aeromaster decals were used. Cyrillic slogan "Chest' Gvardii" ("Honor of the Guards") hand-drawn in yellow paint pen along the right side of the aircraft nose. Left side reads "Sevastopol'skiy" in Cyrillic.
