Vector 1/32 Wright R-1820F / Shvetsov M-25 By Aleks Šekularac

It is my pleasure to review 1/32 scale Shvetsov M-25 engine kit by Vector. I am calling this a kit for good reason, as the small plastic bag contains some 47 resin pieces, if I counted correctly. And this is without ignition wires and pushrods, which one will undoubtedly want to add to finish this jewel!

The title card shown on the top lists some most common uses for this power plant, but what excites me the most is that I finally have something to put in the cavernous cowling of Azur’s/Special Hobby’s I-16 model. That said, it is almost a crime to hide any of this beautiful resin behind any kind of cowling. All the parts are simply perfect.

I have nothing more to say about it, except to hint that there will be an extensive update set from Vector for the same aforementioned I-16 kit, and I cannot wait to see it.
