Pavla 1/72nd Polikarpov Po-2 Update Resin set (#7230) for the KP Kit By Matt Bittner

If it wasn't for looking through the new releases at Hannant's, I would never have known this set was released. There are 22 extremely well cast resin pieces, some an update to the KP kit, others completely new parts.

Included in the new parts are skis (including one for the tail skid) and engine covering. Replacement parts are tires, engine, prop, guns (two different types), bomb racks and separate bombs. I haven't been able to tell what types of bombs they are as they appear to be between the FAB-50 and FAB-100.

Everything is extremely well molded, with little to no air bubbles. The engine itself is very nicely cast and the only one better would be the NeOmega M-11. This set is highly recommended and should be considered if you plan on building the venerable KP U-2/Po-2. Couple this with the Extratech photoetch set and you could have a show stopping model on your hands.
