I-16 Type 10 ( Uwe Borchert ). "Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 with the M-25A is the Hasegawa-Kit. I build the model out of the box with four new exhaustpipes under the engine and a new airsrew cap. This plane was fly to the Nationalists on 5 February 1939 by Sgt. Alvaro Pitarch."

I-16 Type 10 ( Uwe Borchert ). "Polikarpov I-16 Type 10 with the Wright Cyclone in Spanish Republican service. I built the Hasegawa kit. Here I made a new cockpit with the oxygen system and the open entry. The model has also four exhaust pipes in the underside of the cowling, typical for Type 10. This machine was flown by Antonio Arias Arias."

I-16 Type 10 ( Matt Bittner ).1/72nd Hasegawa Type 18 with the Atlee Type 10 conversion. Cockpit rebuilt using Evergreen strip styrene. Cockpit door cut out and replaced with a styrene sheet door and positioned open. Aircraft number on the rudder is a model railroad dry transfer. Finished as American Derik Dickinson's machine, Spain, 1938, as shown in the book Fighting Polikarpov.
